Good enough isn't enough. We stay curious, measure everything, stay honest about progress and keep pushing ourselves to think creatively. We drive change, again and again. And leave things better than we found them. When we raise the bar, our customers feel it too. Key Responsibilities: Own CNP Processing & VAS Go-to-Market Strategy — Lead positioning and messaging for NMI's card-not-present processing stack and Value Added Solutions, including tokenization and vaulting, recurring billing support, ACH, invoicing and fraud prevention tools. Define clear, outcome-led value propositions for ecommerce merchants, subscription businesses, marketplaces and software platforms, grounded in conversion, revenue retention and fraud reduction rather than processing specifications alone. Develop differentiated narratives that articulate why NMI is the processing and VAS partner of choice for online and card-not-present businesses, moving away from feature-and-spec language in favor of stories about merchant and partner success. Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions using merchant insight and competitive intelligence, driving adoption of NMI's CNP processing and VAS suite. Drive Product Launches & Market Adoption — Support go-to-market execution for new processing capabilities, VAS features and integrations. Collaborate cross-functionally across product, sales, corporate marketing and channel marketing on launch execution. Create launch plans, enablement materials, customer-facing messaging and internal readiness programs for online merchants, subscription businesses and software platforms. Support adoption and revenue generation by aligning messaging with onboarding, documentation and the merchant experience. Build Understanding of the eCommerce & VAS Ecosystem — Develop working knowledge of buyer and operator personas within ecommerce, subscription/recurring billing and software platform segments. Conduct market research on trends in online fraud, chargebacks, PCI compliance, checkout conversion and payment orchestration. Monitor competitors and market dynamics to support NMI's differentiation strategy for CNP processing and VAS. Translate research into actionable, solution-focused messaging and strategic recommendations. Build Sales & Channel Enablement — Develop high-impact sales enablement tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, messaging frameworks, ROI narratives and use cases specific to CNP processing and VAS. Help sales articulate the business value of NMI's processing and VAS suite in terms merchants and partners care about, not just technical capability. Support lifecycle messaging that drives adoption, expansion and retention among merchants and partners. Partner with channel marketing to equip ISOs, software providers and reseller partners with compelling, VAS-focused messaging they can use with confidence. Support NMI's Evangelism — Present NMI's CNP processing and VAS solutions to sales teams and internal stakeholders, and support prospect and partner conversations. Help represent NMI at ecommerce and payments industry events and conferences as opportunities arise. Support analyst relationships and help build a credible, technical voice for NMI's CNP processing and VAS story. Bring working technical fluency across payment gateways, tokenization, APIs and PCI compliance to work credibly with engineers, integrators and technical buyers. Influence & Support Product & Business Strategy — Bring competitive insight and merchant research into product packaging, pricing and positioning discussions. Help build business cases for new VAS opportunities and processing enhancements. Drive alignment across product, engineering and commercial teams on processing and VAS priorities. Contribute to Thought Leadership & Drive Solution Storytelling — Turn merchant and market insights into repeatable narratives and frameworks for internal and external use. Partner with content and communications on thought leadership (whitepapers, points of view, benchmark reports, webinars) about how NMI's processing and VAS solutions help merchants succeed. Contribute to company and industry initiatives (webinars, events, analysts, partners) relevant to ecommerce and CNP processing. Minimum Requirements: Five plus years of B2B product marketing experience in payments, fintech or a closely related ecommerce technology space. Payments or fintech experience is required. Experience marketing, or supporting the marketing of, card-not-present payment processing, online payment gateways, tokenization/vaulting, recurring billing, fraud prevention or related payments or fintech value added services. Ability to help translate technical processing and fraud/compliance capabilities into solution-forward, outcome-based messaging for non-technical merchants and buyers. Experience supporting cross-functional product and feature launches. Comfortable and effective presenting live to sales teams, prospects and internal/external stakeholders. Ability to move a product's narrative from feature-and-spec-led to solution- and outcome-led, and to bring sales and channel teams along with that shift. Uses AI tools as part of daily product marketing work (research, content, competitive analysis, enablement production). Strong storytelling, messaging, speaking and content development skills. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or another related field. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a \"normalized\" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in. Available Locations Austin, US New York, US San Francisco, US About the Role Cloudflare is looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Developer GTM Strategy & Incubation team, focused on Technical Programs. This person will help Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, Professional Services, and Developer GTM leadership identify the right customer opportunities, organize technical GTM work, and turn high-value customer engagement into repeatable programs and operating rhythms. The Developer GTM Strategy & Incubation function exists to evolve the way the Developer GTM team works, designing systems, processes, and GTM motions that accelerate consumption at Cloudflare. This role is focused on the technical side of that motion: where we should spend time, how we coordinate technical resources, how we run customer-facing programs, and how we measure whether technical work is driving the right business outcomes. The right person is a high-agency operator with strong technical fluency. They do not need to be a Solutions Architect, but they should be comfortable working with technical products, customer architectures, implementation workflows, developer platforms, and customer-facing technical teams. Responsibilities Build and scale technical programs: Design proactive programs for Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, and related technical GTM teams. Turn ad hoc motions into repeatable playbooks, operating rhythms, and ownership models where it makes sense. Coordinate strategic customer engagement: Project manage high-priority customer initiatives that require technical GTM support. Clarify goals, stakeholders, timelines, resourcing, risks, success criteria, and follow-up. Plan and scale technical onsite visits: Build the planning model for strategic customer onsites, including intake, agenda design, staffing, prep, execution, post-onsite follow-up, and measurement. Improve prioritization and visibility: Own a clear view of active technical engagements, upcoming opportunities, blockers, outcomes, and resourcing needs. Support Professional Services packaging and commercialization: Partner with Professional Services, Finance, Product, Sales Strategy, and GTM leaders on pricing, packaging, business cases, rollout plans, and feedback loops for technical services offerings. Incubate and launch new technical programs: Lead high-priority projects across Developer GTM, support team planning and process improvements, turn technical activity into clear business narratives, and incubate new motions until they are measurable and ready for durable ownership. Examples of projects this person may own Build a proactive SA/FDE engagement program for a priority customer segment or product motion. Professional Services offerings are easier to understand, price, package, and align to Cloudflare's broader consumption-led strategy. New technical GTM motions move from ambiguous ideas to measurable programs with durable owners. Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 6+ years of experience in GTM strategy, business operations, revenue operations, technical program management, solutions strategy, consulting, or a similar cross-functional execution role.
